The Bee Bar Lid is a reusable plastic feeder cap that threads onto glass mason and Ball jars for inverted jar feeding, giving you a secure twist-on fit and controlled syrup access for your bees.

Detailed Description
The Bee Bar Lid is a plastic feeder cap for inverted jar feeders, made for glass mason and Ball jars. The threads run loose on our plastic feeder jars, so glass gives you the most reliable seal out of the box.
One end threads onto the jar — typically a quart, half-gallon, or gallon glass jar. The opposite end faces downward when inverted and has small perforated holes. These let your bees extend their tongues to access syrup without continuous dripping, giving you controlled feeding.
Want to use it on one of our plastic feeder jars instead? Customers have had good luck wrapping the jar's threads with a layer of electrical tape first — it builds up enough thickness to tighten the fit and stop leaking.
It also pairs with our Foxhound Entrance Feeder: thread the Bee Bar Lid onto your glass jar instead of the feeder's stock perforated lid for a tighter, less messy seal.
The plastic construction twists on and off easily, avoiding the common problem of metal lids seizing or sticking during refills.
It's BPA-free and dishwasher safe, so it's easy to clean even when syrup has crystallized. The plastic won't rust and can sit in syrup for extended periods without damage.

We carry a Quart Glass Mason Jar that pairs with this lid. We don't currently stock a glass half-gallon or gallon jar — for larger-volume feeding, you'll need to source your own glass Ball jar in that size, or use the tape trick above with our plastic jars.
