Sting Stopper Ventilated Goat Skin Beekeeping Gloves - Olive Green
Beekeeping gloves have to do two things at once: keep bees from stinging you and let you actually feel what you're doing. These are goat leather with a vented hand — a quadruple-layer vented panel plus a triple-layer sleeve — built to stay cooler than a solid leather glove during a long hive inspection in July. This is the Olive Green colorway.
Key Features
- Quadruple-layer vented hand, triple-layer sleeve: airflow where you need it without sacrificing sting protection.
- Short sleeve design: fits under or over a suit or jacket sleeve without bunching. Sleeve length is 14" from fingertip to velcro strap.
- Reinforced elastic cuffs plus wide velcro: adjustable, secure seal at the wrist.
- Machine washable: re-oil the leather after washing to keep it supple. Don't put them in the dryer — heat will crack the leather.
Size Guide
Measure all the way around the widest part of your palm, excluding your thumb — that's your palm diameter. A slightly snug fit works best.
| Size | Palm Diameter |
|---|---|
| XS | 7.0" - 7.5" |
| S | 7.3" - 7.8" |
| M | 7.8" - 8.5" |
| L | 8.5" - 8.8" |
| XL | 8.6" - 9.0" |
| 2XL | 9.0" - 9.3" |
| 3XL | 9.3" - 10" |
The leather stretches with use, so measure your actual palm and order to fit now — you don't need to size up to account for break-in.
What to Watch For
These are vented for coolness, not built for cold-weather work — if you're doing late-fall or winter hive checks, a solid (non-vented) glove will hold more warmth.
